14th Annual Doggy Dash

The Sacramento SPCA will be having its 14th annual Doggy Dash on Saturday, June 9 in beautiful William Land Park for the 14th annual Doggy Dash. All animal enthusiasts are welcome to enter...whether or not you have a dog. For those with no dog, consider bringing another two-legged friend, or bring several friends and register as a Pledge Pack!.

Back by popular demand this year are two favorite features of Pet Fest 2007 that follows the Doggy Dash:

-The Second Annual PUG RACES where pugs sprint a short distance of 30 feet to see who the fastest pug really is. Last year about 100 pugs participated.

-Then there's the ever "pupular" Pup Show where prizes will be awarded for:

• Smallest Dog
• Tallest Dog
• Most Enthusiastic Wag
• Hairiest Dog
• Best Trick
• Owner/Pet Look Alike Contest
• Best Costume
• Best Kisser
• The Ulti-Mutt Dog

To sign up for these fabulous events, find registration booth 71 at the Doggy Dash, or find one of our many volunteers carrying clipboards who will be happy to register you on the spot! We hope to see you, your best four-legged, AND your best two-legged friends there!
