Wendell Bryant was cut

The Arizona Cardinals released their 2002 1st Round draft choice today, former Wisconsin Badger Wendell Bryant.

Wendell, at 6' 4" 308 lbs, had only 29 tackles and 1.5 sacks over his two seasons with the Cardinals.

The Packers should be interested in Bryant, who would be just as good as any other stiff they put at DT this season.

I disagree. Our D line as a whole will be fine. We have some strong young DT's that are ready to emerge and did a nice job last year. Corey Willams showed good, Donnell Washiungton is a tank with speed, James Lee is a big turd that will clog the middle just as our new defensive scheme asks of the NT. Cullen Jenkins at DT is still there but he is now working at end. Oh yeah, Hunt too if he can get some fire lit under him. Hopefully he will once Corey Williams will replace him as a starter.
