Madden 2006 - Pathetic

Madden 2006 is the most pathetic version I have ever played. I just rented it today to screw around with, and I am just embarassed by how craptastic it is.

I mean, it isn't bad. But, other than the "cone", what changes or updates did they provide from 2005. None. They didn't even take pictures of the rookies. So no looking at Nick Collins or Aaron Rodgers's ugly mugs. They just have generic computer graphics for all the rookie players. And the general free agent list is chalked full of players from Madden 2005 list. Seriously. Phil Bogle? Ever hear of him? Well, he has had a spot on Madden 2005 and 2006, while a player like Vonta Leach, who pretty much starts at FB for the Packers this year, still has not made the game. Even the most recent online roster update.

Last year I made a decision to purchase Madden 2005 and then hold off until PlayStation 3 came-out to buy my next Madden Football video game. I am so glad I purchased Madden 2005. 2006 probably could have been made ten minutes before its release date, it is that pathetic.
