Amnesty International Executives for Kerry 2004
Can somebody say biased? I know $2,000 per person might not seem that much in a presidential election where both candidates raised hundreds of millions of dollars, but it is the maximum threshold for individual contributions. And to see that the leadership of Amnesty International - an alleged nonpartisan organization - is doing the donating, it really calls into question their objectivity. No wonder they compared a terrorist prison camp to the Soviet gulags!
UPDATE:
From the same article, here is a nice quote from Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, that I hope would sink-in to everybody's cranium (assuming it can be substantiated):
"[A]t least a dozen" of the 200 detainees released from Guantanamo "have already been caught back on the battlefield, involved in efforts to kidnap and kill Americans."
The War on Terror is long from over. You do not release enemy combatants or prisoners of war until combat has ceased, otherwise you're increasing the possibility of losing. People who want the enemy combatants / terrorists detained at Guantanamo Bay released either do not realize this, or are knowingly seeking American defeat.
