A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the NL Pennant...
On September 10, the St. Louis Cardinals had 350-to-1 odds to win the NL Pennant. So, I bet $40.00 on them.
What does this mean? Well, if the Brewers win the NL Pennant, my life-long goal of seeing the Brewers play in the World Series will be accomplished. And if they don't, I win $14,000.00.
