Michael Redd Has Successful Surgery

The Bucks announced that guard Michael Redd had successful surgery this morning to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The surgery was performed by orthopedic surgeon Brian Cole in Oak Park, Illinois.

Redd will begin rehabilitation immediately, and it's expected to last about six months. He is expected to make a full recovery and be available for the opening of training camp for next season.

Redd injured his knee in a 106-104 victory at Sacramento on Jan. 24. In 33 games, Redd averaged a team-high 21.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 36.5 minutes. The Bucks were 17-16 in games in which Redd played.
