What is on Kenny Rogers's hand?
Looks like pine tar to me.
Don't they have the game on in the St. Louis clubhouse? Why not ask the Umpire to examine his hand? It looked bright orange.
Mayeb Rogers was applying some Tigers face paint on his kids before the game, but it did really look like pine tar.
By the way, Tim McCarver is a moron. A pitcher can blow into his hand. They can always blow into their hand. What they typically cannot do, unless given permission when going over the ground rules of the game, is apply mositure to the palm of their hand while on the mound.

Definitely pine tar. Hm. They just showed the photos of his hand during the 1st inning, then the 2nd inning. The first photo was STICKY, the second? smooth as a baby's bottom. Mmmmhmmmm. CHEATER!
Adding spit to the tar only helps his curve ball. CHEATER CHEATER CHEATER!
