Oh my!

It's a girl!


Yes, boys and girls, Paige and I bought a pug this evening. A very cute one at that. Her name is Madison, and she is an eight week old fawn female.



Our friends, the Sands, recently purchased Madison after a long search. However, Madison and the Sands' existing loyal companion, Benny, did not take a liking to each other. So the Paige Pug Rescue came to the... rescue.

Fortunately, we were looking forward to getting a pug shortly after the wedding. Now, we already get to enjoy her while we make a last minute plans. She took a liking to us both when we first met, and Paige and I fell for her right away.


Madison is a bundle of energy, and so far, has an extreme foot fetish. We haven't been able to get her to use the existing doggy door, but that might be because she cannot yet reach it. Luckily, the Sands provided us with Madison's existing doggy bed, and after an hour and a half of scampering around the house and yard, Maddy found her way to her bed.


I guess we are Pug People now.
