More than 20 Nations have Offered Aid to the USA

Over 20 nations have already offered aid to the USA for Hurricane Katrina relief. This despite the President's statement:

"I'm not expecting much from foreign nations because we hadn't asked for it. I do expect a lot of sympathy and perhaps some will send cash dollars. But this country's going to rise up and take care of it."

Here is the list, so far:

Australia
Belgium
Canada
Russia
Japan
France
Germany
Britain
China
Jamaica
Honduras
Greece
Venezuela
Netherlands
Switzerland
Greece
Dominican Republic
El Salvador
Mexico
South Korea
Israel
United Arab Emirates

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (a/k/a NATO) and the Organization of American States (a/k/a OAS) have also pledged their support. Even Fidel Castro, President of Cuba, lead the Cuban Parliament in a moment of silence.
