Roberts's Pro Bono Work
Turns out that Supreme Court nominee John Roberts donated some of his pro bono work to assist the Gay Rights group that ultimately won in Romer v. Evans. For those not in the know, Romer v. Evans overturned a Colorado Amendment to their state constitution that explicitly removed all discrimination protection for gays, lesbians, and bisexuals in the state of Colorado.
This comes as a surprise to some. I guess it just adds more support to Roberts's whole "zealous representation of the interests of the client, whoever it might be" schtick.
