Bucks Insider Speaks
Someone (who will always claim to know the unknowable) came out with these predictions for averages for the Bucks next year:
Redd -- 25 Pts, 5 Rebs
Ford -- 12 Pts, 8 Assists
Mason -- 17 Pts, 8 Rebs
Bogut -- 15 Pts, 12 Rebs
Smith -- 15 Pts, 7 Rebs
Simmons -- 15 Pts, 4 Rebs
Pachulia -- 10 Pts, 4 Rebs
That is 109 Pts and 40 Rebs a game already folks. Bucks fans can only dream that this "Someone" really knows what he is talking about. Unfortunately, I know better.
UPDATE:
My Bucks insider, a little peeved about this post, just told me that the Bucks averaged 98 PPG (actually 97.2) and 40 RPG (actually 41.3). "So who is to say they won't score 10 more PPG this season," says my insider. Well, to give the insider due credit, the Bucks could break out as a fastbreak team, and score a bunch more points. So, the insider may have a point there.
However, only 1 team last year scored more than 104 PPG (Phoenix Suns at 110.4) and since 2000, only 3 other teams have scored more than 104 PPG in a season (2003-04 Dallas Mavericks at 105.2 PPG, 2001-02 Dallas Mavericks at 105.2 PPG, and 2001-02 Sacramento Kings at 104.6 PPG).
In addition, the above statistics calculated by my insider do not include any - not even meager - contributions from the other 5 members of the 2005-06 Milwaukee Bucks, which would include the likes of Mo Williams, Dan Gadzuric, Jiri Welsch, Ersan Ilyasova, and (probably) Reece Gaines.

The insider is right. He knows the bucks better than anyone. Some kids went to bed with a Teddy Bear, he fell asleep to the soothing voices of Jim Paschke and Jon McGlocklin. I'd bet on any prediction he makes.
