Now he is with the Legends
On Sunday, September 18th, the Green Bay Packers will officially retire Reggie White's #92 at Lambeau Field. The Packers will host the Cleveland Browns at 3:15 PM. At halftime, there will be the official retirement ceremony. Lucky, for me and my brother, James, we have already set-up travel plans to attend this particular game.
Reggie White will join four other Packers who have had their numbers retired:
Tony Canadeo ... #3
Don Hutson ... #14 (first retired)
Bart Starr ... #15
Ray Nitschke ... #66
It is about time. Reggie White was an unbelievable force on the field when he played with the Packers. The difference of play between the players before and after RE-GGIE is beyond words. I am thankful that I was able to see him play with my own two eyes before he retired. And I am grateful that I was lucky enough to pick this game as the one I will be coming home from California to see, to be there when Reggie is properly honored.
